Cypress Top in Vintage Speckled

Cypress Top in Vintage Speckled

A new top style I am excited to offer in a vintage material first. The Cypress Top. Flattering and simple square neckline, on the front and back. The sleeves are wide and flowy. Cropped and boxy fit. I see this being a summer go to for me.

I will be offering this top in all the time colorways soon - but I found this vintage fabric in a small thrift shop while driving through Texas and fell in love. It feels like a cotton/linen blend and has a lovely texture and speckle to it that reminds me of raw silk. Oatmeal off-white color.

A note on this top: I love to make myself a new piece of clothing to wear when traveling and am going to Mexico in a few weeks and can’t wait to bring one along. The inspiration for the name of this top came from a special tree in Oaxaca that has the widest trunk in the world that I can’t wait to see. It’s in the cypress family.

2 of a kind. Only enough for S/M and true small (I apologize for the lack of size range. With vintage fabric I can only make from what is available and the quantities are usually very limited). I have one ready to ship and exactly enough to make one more made to order in a true small.

Made to last but I always recommend hand washing handmade clothing.
If you machine was use a gentle setting and hang/air dry.
Iron on medium heat and not directly onto top.
Wash with like colors.

Measurements laid flat:

Length: about 17.5-18 inches

Width from pit to pit: about 21-22 inches

Armpit holes: about 9 inches

Neckline length: About 5 inches down

(True small sizing is about 2 inches smaller than the width of S/M)

Like all handmade items, this piece is subject to small
imperfections that make it unique.
